D sat down in front of his 120 GB, triple cooled mini computer. “What’s that?” he called to his wife, in the other room. No answer. D thought he should go through the trouble of standing up, going to the other room to hear his wife say, “What? Oh, nothing. I was just saying we should call Ray.” This was something D had heard before. In fact, his wife had said something similar only hours earlier. She was right. It was nothing. So D said nothing and stared at his computer monitor. He stared and stared. Why wasn’t it coming on? Then he realized it wasn’t turned on. The computer wasn’t turned on yet. Or maybe it was in standby mode. He moved the mouse and nothing happened. |

Easy Download InstructionsAfter clicking on the link Download PC files, you should be prompted to save the file or given the option to "Open" or "Save". Choose "Save. Next you are given the option to pick a filename and folder to save the file to. We suggest keeping the name "anrlogo.exe" and saving it wherever you choose. Once the download is complete, locate the file "Xlrlogo.exe" and double click the icon. The following dialog box will appear. Choose "Unzip" to expand the file. Now the file is usable. For quick access to the image in the future, save it again under a different name. Thank you! |

Toby wanted the red flip phone. He wanted the red flip phone because it agreed with him. Red was his lucky color. It was better, thought Toby, to have a lucky color and not get any luck from it than have no lucky color and still get no luck. So red was his lucky color and every purchase had to be red. There were no exceptions. All his clothes were red. Or Black. Black was ok. Black worked. It wasn’t lucky. But it wasn’t unlucky. It was neutral. It was safer than neutral…it didn’t offend red. But they didn’t have a red flip phone so he was forced to get a blue flip phone. Blue. Of all colors! Blue? That was when he knew his luck had changed. |

A slow Monday night for Radio Light. Two or three legitimate calls and five crank calls. DJ Light leaned closer to the microphone. “You’re all asleep! Wake up. See the light. The only conspiracy is the one you have against yourself. The only war is the one you wage against yourself.” DJ Light leaned back. The mbira orchestra cd he was playing in the background took over his consciousness. The repetitive, clinking, blink, blink, clink, blink, clink. Eventually, all mbira music sounds like the same song. It sounds like DJ Light leaned closer to the microphone, hoping some words would insist on being spoken. “The only war is the one you wage against yourself.” He repeated himself the way the mbira repeats itself. Did that mean all of DJ Lights broadcasts sound the same? Yes. They all sound like |
