Oggy misses his girlfriend
If Oggy were a man he would leave this fucked up town and go live with his girlfriend in Mass. He would do this because his priorities demand it.
But he isn't a man.
He is a work pig.
A whore.
George said that he shouldn't push his luck, that he might have to suck in his pride for a whole.
This is a fools advice.
Oggy believes in priorities.
If his priorities are his girlfriend and his health and his book, then those are his priorities.
Working overtime, counting his quarters alone in his room, rubbing his sore back, mean that money is his priority. Is he willing to sacrifice everything he actually cares about for the privilege of selling toys on the internet?
Apparently that is what he is doing.
Isn't the better advice to always tell your bosses to fuck themselves if they don't want to be flexible.
Isn't it better to stick to your goals no matter what.
Oggy's goal isn't to be rich or famous.
He just wants to live each day like he'll never get it back.
RIght now he is living like the days are free and he can buy them back with the money he is making.
THat is how most people live.
But it isn't true.
Money can't buy back those days.
Money can't buy a day at the beach when you were 19 years old and owned a pair of jeans that fit so good you couldn't even feel them.
No amount of money will buy that back.
So if you were working in a walk-in freezer stocking milk and Yoo Hoos and beer during the summer and you earned thirty or forty dollars that day you will not be able to go to the bank and take that thirty dollars out when you are 33 and tell the banker that you would like to be 19 again.
The banker will laugh at you.
The banker will tell you that you sold that day for thirty dollars 14 years ago.
14 years ago you cashed in.
Now you are are 33 and you are doing it again.
In 14 more years you will not be able to buy back a day with your girlfriend when you were 33.
No.
You sold those days for a few burritos and steak tacos.
You don't have shit.
